Piperville Rd Bearbrook bridge set to open soon

The Piperville Road bridge over the Bearbrook creek is almost ready and should open in the coming week. The construction or actually the demolition of the old bridge started in early May while the new bridge was built during the summer months. Piperville Road in that area has been closed since. Neighbours on both side of the bridge found it quiet especially during weekends and weeknights when no contractors were working on the bridge. During weekdays it was the opposite as many gravel trucks and cement trucks were visiting the area numerous times per day. Piperville Road is an important link between the village of Carlsbad Springs and the Carlsbad Springs Community Centre, and residents and commuters travelling to and from Farmer‘s Way, Anderson Road and up to Ramsayville Road.
