Township of Russell Welcomes New Council / La municipalité de Russell accueille son nouveau conseil

Embrun, Ontario – The newly elected council for the Township of Russell was sworn into office on Monday, November 21, 2022, in the council chambers at the municipal office in Embrun.

Acclaimed Mayor Pierre Leroux welcomed returning Councillors Jamie Laurin and Mike Tarnowski and newly elected Councillors Lisa Deacon and Marc Lalonde.

“Moving forward, we will all determine the direction we travel as a team, bringing the community along with us for what is sure to be an incredible journey. I look forward to a productive and professional four years,” states Mayor Leroux. 

The Township administration looks forward to working with Council and their vision for the community.

La municipalité de Russell accueille son nouveau conseil

Embrun, Ontario - Le conseil récemment élu de la municipalité de Russell a été assermenté le lundi 21 novembre 2022, dans la salle du conseil à l'hôtel de ville d'Embrun

Le maire acclamé Pierre Leroux a souhaité la bienvenue aux conseillers de retour Jamie Laurin et Mike Tarnowski et aux nouveaux conseillers élus Lisa Deacon et Marc Lalonde.

« À l'avenir, nous déterminerons tous la direction que nous prendrons en tant qu'équipe, en amenant la communauté avec nous pour ce qui sera certainement un voyage incroyable. J'ai hâte de vivre quatre années productives et professionnelle » déclare Maire Leroux.

L'administration municipale anticipe avec plaisir de travailler avec le conseil et sa vision pour la communauté.
